Manage business systems across the corporation which includes JD Edwards (JDE), Web Development, SharePoint, Applications Development, Electronic Data Interchange, and Human Resource Management Systems. Set the vision for the development of enterprise applications that have incorporated security, object oriented principles and rapid delivery of information solutions to the business. Manage multiple solutions (internal and external) and embrace project management methodologies and related SDLCs to best support the underlying needs of the organization. Develop and maintain the company’s business systems and ensure they support the organization objectives of productivity optimization, continuous improvement, and geographic growth. Develop, staff, and retain employees through manager / mentor relationships. Align the business systems area’s objectives with the organization’s strategic plan by working with the Vice President of Information Technology and management from all business locations to identify current and future information needs and opportunities. Outline fiscally sound management initiatives with Business Systems areas across all locations and develop project capital, expense, and departmental budgets to align with the overall operational goals of the corporate mission. Ensure that all information technology assets are effectively utilized and acquired in an economical and timely manner. Utilize broad knowledge of all aspects of the Business Systems (Financial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Human Resources, Procurement, Customer Service, and EDI) to lead multidiscipline work teams. Share projects, resources, and best practices across locations to foster synergies across geographical boundaries allowing for business knowledge to further strengthen the relationships between business units. Align with business partners in relation to MRP, DRP, and supply chain management.
Salary: $155,000 per year
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems, or a related field. At least 5 years of progressive experience with JDE ERP applications development and support of which at least 2 years must be in systems development and on JDE E1 9.0 version. At least 5 years of progressive experience managing a team of application developers. Experience with business process reengineering to define the needs of and develop processes for an organization. Experience in deploying state-of-the-art web functionality. Experience with Global Container Management module. Experience with Bottomline suite of products (Createform, Transform, Transform Content Center). Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Working knowledge of IBM AS400 platform which includes JDE development and troubleshooting. Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time.
