Leads and collaborates with business partners to perform root-cause analyses, design, development and evaluation of on-site, online, and/or blended learning solutions to meet established performance goals.
Builds learning objectives and training concepts as part of the development of innovative storyboards for web-based training as well as content development of instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training components and performance job aids.
Performs effective needs analysis, program design, course development, and evaluation processes.
Designs creative and engaging course content that effectively accomplishes the behavioral objectives for classroom and online content to be administered through the LMS.
Works with subject matter experts to obtain the appropriate information to fulfill the detail design specifications for assigned deliverables.
Identifies critical success factors and designs evaluation/assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training materials/programs.
Evaluates new or existing instructional/educational materials/tools and ensures sound instructional design processes, consistency of content and message and compliance with applicable guidelines.
Designs new or modifies existing training materials as required to be administered through the LMS.
Develops strategies and technologies that leverage digital media to instruct and educate staff across the organization
Manage outside e-content suppliers and consultants as needed
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Technology, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university. Masters Degree preferred.
In lieu of degree, may substitute any combination of education and experience, such as two years credited toward a bachelor’s degree and four years experience in training, instructional design or eLearning course development.
Requires a minimum of three years experience in training, instructional design, and eLearning course development, including the use of course authoring software, learning management systems, storyboarding, content management, graphic editing software, multimedia, and HTML coding.
Understanding of transferring documents from various browsers software into LMS.
Demonstrated experience in Curriculum development, emphasizing competency-based instruction.
Experience with Plateau LMs preferred
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
